What is an Aim To Be Fit Women's Boot Camp?

Aim To Be Fit Women's Boot Camps is a 30-minute indoor fitness programs that include top notch fitness instruction, nutritional coaching and motivational training all designed to get you in the best shape of your life regardless of your current fitness level. One or two day a week plans are also available.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

No camper will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. If you've never exercised before or if you're a battle-tested athlete, you’ll find that Aim To Be Fit Women's Boot Camps are just the program for you! Women of all ages, abilities and fitness levels will achieve incredible results.

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet three times per week, or alternatively, one or two times per week if that is all your schedule can accommodate.

What if I can’t attend three days a week?

Some exercise is better than no exercise, and since plans for one, two and three days per week are available, boot camp will fit your schedule and your pocket book. Simply attend as much as possible. You can still achieve significant results even without perfect attendance.

Do you offer other times/locations?

I currently offer the four camps listed on the Times & Locations page. I am looking to expand in the future, so make sure you let me know if there's an area/time that I don't offer, as I take into consideration demand for new camps.

What if I’m too busy and don’t have time to come?

Speaking from experience with a wide variety of clients, “I don’t have time” really means "I'm not ready to make a real change." The truth of the matter is that everyone is busy, but some people choose to make time for exercise. If you really want to change the way you look and feel, ask yourself this: Am I finally ready to do what it takes to change? Remember that you have the same number of hours in your day that Da Vinci, Lincoln and every other person who accomplished great things had.

What do I need to bring?

You'll need a pair of dumbbells (8 pounds is the average, but based on your ability level between 5 & 10 pounds per dumbbell). Optional but recommended is an exercise/yoga mat, since there will be some work done on the floor. Make sure to bring a water bottle and a towel, too!

What can I expect to achieve?

You can expect to drop inches and pounds while becoming more fit and toned. On average you’ll drop 4-8 pounds, 1-2 dress sizes, and 2-4% body fat every 30 days. Most people feel some soreness following the first 2-3 workouts. After that point, it is little to moderate. The soreness comes from your body not being used to intense exercise. The soreness is normal—it's part of the process that lets you know you are improving! After the first two weeks your body will adjust and you’ll find that you’re no longer sore. The worst thing you can do is stop exercising because you experience some residual soreness.

What is a typical day like at camp?

In one word—FUN! However, since each workout program is intentionally different to alleviate boredom and to give you maximum results in minimum time its difficult to describe a “typical day.” Some of the things you can expect include: running, intervals, resistance training, core, body weight, and team training. Each day will be new and challenging!

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvement can take place in as little as a couple of days. Visual improvement can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level and compliance with Aim To Be Fit Women's Boot Camp's recommended nutritional guidelines. It's not uncommon to see a camper go down 1-2 clothing sizes and up to 8 pounds within the first 4 weeks.
